JUI-F Submits Resolutions Against Emergency Rule in KP

News Desk

ISLAMABAD: The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) has submitted resolutions in both the Senate and National Assembly opposing the imposition of emergency rule and governor’s rule in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

The resolutions were filed by Senators Kamran Murtaza and Aliya Kamran, and copies have been sent to the President, Prime Minister, Federal Law Minister, and relevant authorities.

The resolutions argue that the imposition of emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is unconstitutional and undermines democratic processes.

JUI-F leaders have expressed concerns that such measures could lead to political instability and violate the rights of citizens in the province.

This development raises significant questions about the political landscape in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where the party has a strong support base.

Analysts suggest that the move could galvanize opposition against the current government and lead to increased tensions in the region.

Looking ahead, the JUI-F is expected to rally support from other political parties to strengthen their stance against the emergency rule.

Upcoming parliamentary sessions will likely see heated debates on this issue, as the party seeks to mobilize public opinion against what they describe as an unconstitutional act.
