JUI-F Mobilizes Workers in Balochistan Amid Rising Tensions

News Desk

QUETTA: The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has called on its party workers in Balochistan to prepare for potential political developments, emphasizing the need for organizational readiness and protest strategies as directed by party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

This directive was issued during a meeting of the party’s provincial executive committee and parliamentary members, chaired by provincial chief Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey on Sunday.

The meeting reaffirmed support for Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s position and the resolutions passed by the party’s central executive council, urging members to stay alert for any directives from leadership.

Concerns were raised regarding the deteriorating political, economic, and security situation in Balochistan, where business activities have stalled, unemployment is on the rise, and targeted violence has become increasingly prevalent.

The committee highlighted the growing insecurity on national highways, making travel perilous for residents.

Looking ahead, the JUI-F plans to activate its organizational structures at various levels, including provincial, district, tehsil, and union councils, to ensure a swift response to any political shifts.

The party’s leadership is expected to convene further meetings to strategize their approach in light of the ongoing challenges facing the region.
