ISLAMABAD: Iran on Monday formally acknowledged and lauded the concerted efforts of Pakistan’s civilian and military leadership towards fostering sustained peace and stability across the region.
The diplomatic appreciation was conveyed during a high-level bilateral meeting in Tehran between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Iranian counterpart, Eskandar Momeni, as both nations seek to bolster diplomatic and security ties.
During the comprehensive deliberations, the Iranian interior minister specifically commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of the Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir for their proactive diplomatic and strategic initiatives aimed at mitigating regional tensions.
