Four more die in rain-related incidents in Balochistan

Quetta: At least four people lost their lives while 52 others sustained injuries in the last 24 hours as heavy rains pummelled parts of Balochistan, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said on Sunday.

The two victims of heavy rains were residents of Kech and two others of Panjgur. Thus, the death toll in rain-related incidents has reached 73. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained till the filing of this report.

The most of deaths and injuries were reported from Pashin, Bolan, Quetta, Zhob, Dikki, Khasdar, Kohlu, Kech, Mastung, Harnai, Qila Saifullah, and Sibi. According to PDMA, a large number of children are among the victims while  23 women, 23 men, and 27 children are included in the dead. Meanwhile, 52 people were injured in accidents during the rains.
