Four Miners Killed in Harnai Coal Mine Explosion

Harnai: The Pakistan Army has concluded a rescue operation following a gas explosion at a coal mine in Balochistan’s Harnai district, with five trapped workers rescued alive.

According to officials, four miners were killed and five others sustained injuries after a powerful explosion caused by a buildup of gas inside the mine.

Several workers became trapped deep underground following the blast. After receiving information about the incident, Pakistan Army rescue teams reached the site and launched an operation to locate and evacuate the trapped miners.

After a prolonged rescue effort, five workers were successfully brought out of the mine alive.

The five injured workers were shifted to Quetta for medical treatment, while the bodies of the four deceased miners were recovered following the operation.

Authorities have not yet provided further details about the cause of the gas buildup or the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
