Islamabad:The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested five suspects, including three Chinese nationals, in connection with an alleged human organ trafficking network during a major raid in Islamabad’s Sector F-7/1.

According to FIA sources, the arrested suspects include Chinese nationals Li Ganglei, Wang Bao, and Pengfei Gao, along with Pakistani citizens Waqas Sarwar and Qaisar Hanif.

During the operation, investigators reportedly recovered several human organs and material suspected to be human tissue from the premises. The recovered items have been seized and sent for forensic examination to determine their origin.

FIA officials alleged that the two Pakistani suspects were employed as drivers by the Chinese nationals and were assisting in the network by facilitating the transportation and supply of individuals.

All five suspects have been taken into FIA custody and shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.

The agency said investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest other suspected members and facilitators believed to be linked to the alleged international organ trafficking network.

Authorities have not yet disclosed further details regarding the suspected victims or the scale of the operation. The allegations remain under investigation, and the suspects have not been convicted of any offence.
