Islamabad: A massive fire broke out at the parking facility of a private shopping centre in Karachi’s Buffer Zone area on Saturday, damaging several parked motorcycles and triggering a large-scale rescue operation.
According to rescue officials, two fire brigade vehicles were dispatched to the Shopping Emporium immediately after the blaze erupted in the building, local media channels reported.
Rescue teams launched an emergency operation to control the fire and evacuate people trapped inside the smoke-filled building.
Officials said the rescue efforts continued for several hours as firefighters battled intense flames and dense smoke that reduced visibility and complicated the operation.

During the rescue operation, emergency personnel successfully evacuated a minor girl along with several other individuals who had been trapped inside the building.
Firefighters confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident.
