Slingshots Seized En Route to PTI Long March

PESHAWAR: Police have intercepted a consignment of slingshots allegedly being transported to Peshawar for the PTI long march and arrested the driver of the vehicle, officials said.

According to police, a vehicle carrying a large quantity of slingshots was seized on September 23, while its driver was taken into custody.

Police said the consignment was being transported to Peshawar in connection with the planned protest.

Law enforcement authorities later set the confiscated protest materials on fire, according to officials.

Details of the vehicle’s seizure and the driver’s arrest have been incorporated into the formal report filed in connection with the incident.
