10 Deported Pakistanis Face FIA Case

Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) Islamabad has registered a case against 10 Pakistani nationals deported from Turkey, Italy, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia for allegedly violating passport and immigration laws.

According to the FIA, the individuals arrived at Islamabad International Airport on August 22, 2026, after being deported from the respective countries. A case was registered against them under Sections 3 and 4 of the Passport Act, 1974.

During the initial investigation, it emerged that six of the deportees had been sent back from Turkey and were allegedly involved in attempts to travel illegally to Europe. The remaining four, deported from Italy, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, are facing allegations including illegal entry, overstay and begging.

The FIA has taken the passports, travel documents and mobile phones of all 10 suspects into custody as part of the investigation.

Investigators are also examining whether any agents or facilitators were involved in arranging the individuals’ illegal travel abroad. The FIA said legal action would be taken against anyone found facilitating or participating in such activities.

The FIA Islamabad Zone reiterated its resolve to continue action against human trafficking, illegal immigration and unlawful travel abroad.
