Saudia Eases Visa Process for Pakistanis with 24-Hour Approval
News Desk
ISLAMABAD: The Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Rajih bin Thami Al-Buqami, has assured that Pakistani citizens will now receive their visas within 24 hours, significantly easing the travel process to Saudi Arabia.
During a crucial meeting with Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain, the ambassador emphasized the commitment of the Saudi government to facilitate Pakistani travelers.
He stated, “We will provide all necessary support to ensure a smooth visa issuance process for those wishing to travel to Saudi Arabia for work or pilgrimage.”
This initiative is expected to enhance bilateral ties and promote greater mobility between the two nations.
The expedited visa process is particularly significant for the large number of Pakistanis seeking employment opportunities in Saudi Arabia, which has historically been a major destination for Pakistani workers.
This development not only reflects the strengthening of Pak-Saudi relations but also aims to boost the Pakistani economy by facilitating remittances from overseas workers.
Looking ahead, both governments are expected to engage in further discussions to streamline additional travel and work-related processes, ensuring that the benefits of this new visa policy are fully realized.
The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs is likely to release further details on the implementation of this initiative in the coming weeks.
