Rain Likely in Country

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts rain-wind and thundershowers are expected in Islamabad, the Pothohar region, Upper and Central Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Southeast Sindh, Northeast Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
PMD states that moderate monsoon currents from the Bay of Bengal are penetrating the upper and central parts. A westerly wave is also likely to enter the upper parts of the country today.
Heavy falls are expected in KP, Islamabad, the Potohar region, and Upper Punjab during the forecast period, according to the Met Office.
