ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly’s Interior Committee has directed a reinvestigation into the murder case of Hina Javed, a young woman whose tragic death has raised significant public concern.

The decision was made during a session held on Thursday, where committee members emphasized the need for a thorough examination of the evidence and circumstances surrounding the case.

Committee Chairman, Rana Sanaullah, stated, “It is imperative that we ensure justice for Hina Javed and her family.

The previous investigation raised several questions that need to be addressed. We owe it to the public to pursue this matter diligently.”

The case, which has drawn widespread media attention, highlights ongoing issues related to women’s safety and justice in Pakistan.

This directive comes amid increasing scrutiny of the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies in handling cases of violence against women.

The reinvestigation aims to restore public confidence in the criminal justice system and ensure that similar cases are treated with the seriousness they deserve.

Moving forward, the committee plans to hold further meetings with law enforcement officials and legal experts to discuss the next steps in the investigation.

The Interior Ministry is expected to provide updates on the progress of the case in the coming weeks, as public interest remains high.
