Karachi: Annural, the first RADAR Pakistan artist of 2024, is set to celebrate the release of her debut album, showcasing her unique fusion of chill pop and R&B.

Kicking off the New Year with enthusiasm, Spotify proudly announces Annural Khalid as the inaugural female RADAR Pakistan artist, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to promoting emerging talents within the local music scene.

Accompanying this exciting news is the release of a Spotify RADAR mini-documentary, providing an unprecedented look into Annural’s musical journey and the twists and turns that have shaped her career.

From her early days as a singer to her appointment as Spotify’s EQUAL Pakistan Ambassador in July 2023, Annural’s trajectory is a testament to her extraordinary talent and unwavering dedication.

Her selection as RADAR Pakistan’s artist for the quarter underscores how Spotify supports artists in their quest for broader recognition and global exposure.

Initiating her musical career in 2020, Annural has garnered success with a series of hit singles and noteworthy collaborations within the local music industry. Tracks like “Kehdena,” “Mujhe Leh Chal,” “Dil de Bol,” “Pretty Lies,” and “Sohneya Ve” resonate deeply with fans around the world.

Expressing her excitement about the opportunity, Annural stated, “Spotify RADAR is a significant milestone for me. It allows me to share my story with a larger audience, connecting who I am as a person with the perception of me as an artist.

With RADAR, emerging artists like myself finally get the chance to do that. Spotify has been instrumental in helping me find my audience, providing insights into what resonates with my listeners and ensuring that emerging artists receive the representation they deserve. As an artist, I never have to worry about a good song not reaching the right audience.”

RADAR Pakistan, a part of Spotify’s global emerging artist program, is committed to identifying and uplifting promising musical talents from across Pakistan. The program not only highlights these artists but also offers them a platform to connect with global audiences. The recently held and widely praised RADAR Fest Pakistan showcased performances by all four RADAR artists—Hasan Raheem, Taha G, Maanu, and Hassan & Roshaan—illustrating the initiative’s goals in the country.
