KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued an important statement regarding the weather in Karachi, forecasting hot and dry conditions for today.

The minimum temperature recorded this morning was 24 degrees Celsius, with expectations of maximum temperatures ranging between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius.

The PMD noted that humidity levels in the air are at 35 percent, which may contribute to the discomfort during the day. Officials emphasize the need for residents to stay hydrated and take precautions against heat exposure, especially during peak hours.

This weather pattern is significant as it can impact daily activities, particularly for those working outdoors. The rise in temperatures may also affect energy consumption, leading to increased demand for electricity as air conditioning units are utilized more frequently.

Looking ahead, the PMD will continue to monitor weather patterns and provide updates as necessary. Residents are advised to stay tuned for further forecasts and to prepare accordingly for the heat.
