KARACHI: Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, the leader of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), has declared a firm commitment to fight for the rights of citizens, emphasizing that his party will not back down or abandon their cause.

Speaking at a rally in Karachi, he stated that the JI will actively engage in the political arena rather than resorting to passive measures.

During his address, Hafiz Naeem criticized the current political landscape, asserting that the people of Karachi deserve better governance and representation.

He stated, “We will not throw our files and walk away; we will stand firm and demand our rights.” His remarks resonate with the frustrations of many citizens who feel sidelined by the existing political framework.

This declaration comes at a time when Karachi faces numerous challenges, including inadequate public services and rising inflation.

Hafiz Naeem’s call to action aims to mobilize citizens and galvanize support for a more equitable political system, highlighting the need for accountability and transparency in governance.

Looking ahead, the JI plans to organize further rallies and community meetings to raise awareness about their agenda and encourage public participation.

The party is also expected to engage with other political entities to build a coalition focused on reforming local governance and addressing pressing issues faced by Karachi’s residents.
