Bilawal Calls for Unity Against Terrorism Post Long March
ISLAMABAD:
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), emphasized the need for national unity against terrorism following the conclusion of the recent long march. Speaking at a press conference, he stated that the end of the march presents an opportunity for the nation to come together and combat the rising threat of terrorism.
In his remarks, Zardari highlighted the importance of collective action, urging all political factions to set aside differences and focus on the common goal of ensuring security and stability in the country. He remarked, “When the long march concludes, it is crucial for the nation to unite against the menace of terrorism that threatens our peace and progress.”
This call for unity comes at a time when Pakistan faces increasing challenges from extremist groups, which have been gaining momentum in various regions. Analysts suggest that a unified front could bolster efforts to address security concerns and restore public confidence in the government’s ability to maintain law and order.
Looking ahead, Zardari called for a national dialogue involving all stakeholders, including political parties, civil society, and security agencies, to formulate a comprehensive strategy against terrorism. He urged immediate discussions to pave the way for collaborative efforts in enhancing national security.
