Babar Azam Clinches World Title as Fastest to 10,000 T20 Runs

Islamabad: Babar Azam has achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the fastest cricketer to score 10,000 T20 runs, surpassing Chris Gayle’s record in 271 innings.

This milestone was achieved while he was playing for Peshawar Zalmi against Karachi Kings.

Babar is now the 13th player overall to reach the 10,000 T20 runs mark and is also the only player to have scored 3,000 runs in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9. His contribution to the league has been significant.

It’s noteworthy that Babar Azam has played T20 matches for a total of 19 teams throughout his career, showcasing his versatility and experience across various cricketing platforms.

Comparatively, Chris Gayle of the West Indies holds the record for the most T20 runs with 14,562, while Pakistan’s Shoaib Malik follows closely with 13,159 runs in T20 cricket.
