What Makes Xiaomi’s New Redmi 17 Stand Out?

Islamabad: Xiaomi Bangladesh has introduced the Redmi 17, a new smartphone aimed at users seeking longer battery life, faster charging and added durability at a competitive price point.

The standout feature of the device is its large 7,500mAh battery, designed to support extended daily use while reducing the need for frequent charging. The smartphone also comes with 45W Turbo Charging, which can charge the battery up to 50 per cent in around 45 minutes, according to a company press release.

The Redmi 17 features a 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and a more responsive viewing experience for entertainment, gaming and everyday tasks.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra processor and runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3. The company says the combination is designed to deliver smooth and reliable performance for up to four years.

For photography, the device carries a 50MP AI dual-camera system aimed at capturing everyday moments. Its durability is further supported by an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.

The Redmi 17 also features Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and Dynamic RGB Light, adding both protection and a distinctive visual element to the device.

In Bangladesh, the smartphone is offered in Oak Green, Deep Blue and Black colour options and comes in two storage configurations.

The 4GB+128GB variant is priced at Tk 22,999, while the 6GB+128GB version costs Tk 24,999. Both prices are subject to VAT.
