Vivo Launches Mid-Range Phone

Islamabad: Vivo has unveiled its latest addition to the Y-series, the Y100, garnering acclaim for its impressive features.

The smartphone operates on 4G technology, boasting a sizable 6.67-inch display and running on the Android 14 operating system. Powered by a Snapdragon chip, it offers 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

In terms of photography, the Vivo Y100 sports three rear cameras and one front-facing camera, with enhancements to the camera technology. The primary rear camera is a 50-megapixel sensor, complemented by a 2-megapixel secondary camera, while the front camera boasts an 8-megapixel resolution.

The device comes equipped with various security features, including a fingerprint sensor, and is designed to be water and dust resistant, available in a range of colors.

Additionally, Vivo has bundled an 80-watt fast charger with a sizable 5,000 mAh battery, enabling up to 17 hours of continuous YouTube video playback on a full charge.

With an upgraded screen technology promising a cinematic viewing experience, the Y100 can reportedly charge to over 50 percent capacity in just 30 minutes.

Vivo has initiated pre-orders for the Y100 in several Asian markets, including Pakistan, where it is priced at Rs 60,000.
