Three students caught using unfair means in BISE exams

Rawalpindi: Three students were caught using unfair means during ongoing examinations following surprise inspections by the Controller of Examinations of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi.
According to a BISE Rawalpindi spokesperson, Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan conducted unannounced visits to several examination centres, where two candidates were found cheating at Government Graduate College Satellite Town (Centre-A), Rawalpindi, while another was caught at Government Higher Secondary School Lilla Town in Pind Dadan Khan tehsil, Jhelum.
The board said cases have been registered against all three candidates in accordance with examination regulations.
During the inspections, the controller also reviewed examination arrangements, security measures, CCTV surveillance and the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) at Government Associate College for Women Hassanabdal, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Hassanabdal, and Government Associate College Hassanabdal.
Tanveer Asghar Awan said the board would make no compromise on the sanctity, merit and transparency of examinations, adding that strict legal action against those involved in promoting cheating would continue without discrimination.
