Rain, Hail Expected in Parts of Pakistan Today

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast the possibility of rain and hail in various parts of Pakistan today (Sunday), including Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.

On Saturday, Balochistan experienced a stormy rainfall, leading to flooding in rivers due to an unexpected hailstorm.

The Quetta Ziarat highway suffered severe damage from floodwaters at multiple points, causing destruction to crops, gardens, and solar panels.

Conversely, rainfall was reported in several parts of Punjab, such as Jhang and Sargodha.

Hailstorms hit the Shikai Valley and Spain, while rain fell in Azad Kashmir’s Neelum Valley, and higher elevations saw snowfall.
