Post-Mortem Reveals Brutal Torture in Gujrat Girl’s Death

Gujrat: The post-mortem examination of a three-year-old girl whose body was found in bushes on the outskirts of Gujrat has revealed signs of severe physical violence, police and medical sources said.

According to the post-mortem report, the child sustained injuries to her nose, ears, mouth and eyes before her death. Fractures were also found in bones of her arm and leg.

The report stated that the child died as a result of severe torture and excessive blood loss. It also raised suspicion of sexual assault, although this will be confirmed or ruled out after the forensic laboratory report is received.

The child’s body was recovered from bushes in the Galiana area three days ago, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Police have reportedly taken the child’s father and cousin into custody for questioning as part of the investigation. Further action will be taken in light of the forensic findings and other evidence collected by investigators.
