PM Shehbaz Directs Ministries to Support Digital Nation Initiative

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed all federal ministries to expedite their efforts in providing essential data for the Digital Nation Pakistan programme.
This initiative aims to establish a central data centre that will enhance the delivery of government services and public facilities across the nation.
During a meeting in the capital, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of aligning government operations with modern technological standards.
He stated that the successful implementation of the Digital Nation Pakistan programme would not only streamline services for citizens but also improve the efficiency of governmental processes.
“The sharing of data among institutions has already proven vital in executing the fuel subsidy scheme for deserving segments of society,” he noted.
This initiative is expected to significantly impact citizens by ensuring more efficient access to government services, thereby fostering a more responsive and accountable administration.
