Petrol price rises in latest OGRA adjustment

Islamabad: Motorists using petrol are set to face higher fuel costs after the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced a new pricing adjustment, increasing the price of petrol while reducing the rate of high-speed diesel.
According to the revised petroleum prices, petrol has become more expensive by Rs4.45 per litre, bringing the new price to Rs333.10 per litre.
In contrast, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs2 per litre, with the new rate set at Rs383.86 per litre.
The latest adjustment will affect fuel consumers across the country, with petrol users facing an increase while transport and commercial sectors relying on diesel may receive some relief from the reduction.
