Are You Ready? The First Solar Eclipse of 2024 Approaches!

News Desk

Islamabad: The first solar eclipse of 2024 is expected on April 8, and it will not be visible again for the next 20 years.

This eclipse will be visible in Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The second solar eclipse of the year is expected on October 2 in parts of South America, and it will be partial.

During a solar eclipse, the moon moves between the sun and the earth, casting a shadow on part of the earth’s surface, resulting in darkness in those areas.

The total solar eclipse on April 8-9 will not be observable in Pakistan due to nighttime, but it will be visible in Western Europe, South America, the Atlantic, and other locations.
