ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a fresh weather advisory, predicting partly cloudy skies coupled with strong winds, thunder, and rain in the federal capital and its surrounding areas over the upcoming days.
According to the Met Office, the incoming weather system is likely to bring localized downpours, while certain vulnerable pockets within Islamabad may also experience isolated hailstorms.
Authorities have advised residents to exercise caution during the gusty winds, which could potentially disrupt daily commuting and local power distribution networks.

While sudden downpours often raise concerns regarding urban flooding and traffic congestion on major arteries like Express Highway and Kashmir Highway, meteorologists note that the rain will help mitigate the prevailing dry spell and lower temperatures across the Pothohar region.
