Islamabad: Pakistani actress and host Kiran Khan has tied the knot with Ishtiaq Baig in ‘Makkah’ while performing Umrah.
The couple shared the news of their ‘Nikah’ with fans on social media during their stay in Makkah, prompting an outpouring of congratulatory messages.
Kiran Khan described her marriage and the opportunity to perform Umrah at the same time as two of the greatest blessings of her life.
In a social media post, the actress said experiencing Umrah alongside her ‘Nikah’ was a “double blessing” and that beginning a new chapter of her life in Makkah had brought her immense spiritual fulfillment.
She also prayed that Almighty Allah accept their Umrah, bless their marriage and make them a source of peace and goodness for each other.
The couple also shared photographs and messages from their visit to Makkah, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to perform Umrah.
Who is Ishtiaq Baig?
Ishtiaq Baig is associated with the entertainment and philanthropic sectors and is known for founding the Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan, which works to fulfil the wishes of children suffering from serious illnesses.
Baig was previously married to renowned Pakistani singer Nazia Hassan. The couple married in 1995, and their marriage ended in 1997.
