Court Rejects Plea to Suspend Detention of Uzma, Noreen

LAHORE: A local court has formally rejected an urgent plea seeking the immediate suspension of the contentious detention notifications issued against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi, dealing a notable legal blow to their families and legal representatives.
