Cold, Dry Weather Likely to Prevail in Sindh, KP

KARACHI/ PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD)) on Saturday issued forecasts for the majority of Sindh and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provinces that called for mainly cold and dry weather over the next 24 hours.

Cold, dry weather forecast for Sindh

PMD stated that mainly, cold and dry weather is likely to prevail in the province. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded during the previous day at different stations are as follows:

Cold winds continue in Peshawar

The majority of Peshawar and other districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa will continue to have cold, dry weather. While Mansehra, Kohistan, and Balakot are predicted to see rain with thunder and lightning as well as snowfall in the mountains,

Met office stated that cold and dry weather in the provincial capital is the same in other districts as well. As a result of rain with thunder and lightning in Upper KP and snowfall on the mountains over the past 24 hours, the weather has remained chilly and dry in other areas of the province.

The minimum temperatures recorded: Kalam -05°C, Parachinar-04°C, Hunza and MalamJabba-02°C.Snowfall recorded (in inches): Kalam 28, MalamJabba 20, Chitral 11, Skardu 08, Dir 05, Darosh and Gopas 03.

Rain recorded at different stations is as follows:

However, in Kalam 28, MalamJabba 20, Chitral 11, Skardu 08, Dir 05, Darosh and Gopas recorded 03 inches of snowfall.
