Traffic Advisory Issued for Foreign Delegations’ Movement

Islamabad: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has announced a traffic diversion plan to facilitate the movement of foreign delegations in the federal capital, advising commuters to use alternative routes and allow extra travel time.
According to the traffic plan, vehicles travelling from Suhrawardy Chowk towards Serena Chowk will be diverted. Motorists have been advised to use Embassy Road as an alternative route.
Traffic from Constitution Avenue at the France Turn towards Serena Chowk will also be diverted, while one-way traffic will be operated in the area during the movement of the delegations.
Similarly, traffic from Aabpara towards Serena Chowk via Srinagar Highway will be diverted. Commuters have been advised to use Seventh Avenue from Srinagar Highway as an alternate route.
Another diversion will be in place for traffic moving from Kashmir Chowk towards Serena, with motorists also advised to use Seventh Avenue from Srinagar Highway.
The Islamabad Traffic Police urged citizens to plan their journeys in advance, allow extra travel time and cooperate with traffic officials to ensure smooth movement during the diversions.
The public has also been advised to follow the Islamabad Traffic Police’s WhatsApp channel and tune in to ITP FM 92.4 for the latest traffic updates and guidance.
