PU Announces Results of First Undergraduate Entry Test

Lahore: Punjab University (PU) has announced the results of its first undergraduate entry test, with more than 31,000 candidates having appeared in the examination for admission to various undergraduate programmes.
According to a university spokesperson, candidates can check their results on the university’s official website.
The spokesperson said registration for the second entry test for admission to undergraduate programmes for the 2026 academic session is currently open. Interested candidates may submit their applications until July 3, 2026.
Students who appeared in the first test are also eligible to retake the examination to improve their scores.
Punjab University has made the entry test mandatory for admission to all undergraduate programmes. The second test is scheduled to be held on July 19, 2026, in major cities across the country.
Under the university’s admission policy, the entry test carries a weightage of 25 percent in the overall admission criteria.
The spokesperson advised prospective students to visit the university website for detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, admission requirements and other relevant guidelines.
