Lahore: Table-toppers Peshawar Zalmi take on a struggling Karachi Kings side in a crucial Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 encounter at Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday.

Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to bat first, hoping to revive their campaign in a must-win scenario.

Led by Babar Azam, Peshawar Zalmi have been the standout team of the tournament so far. Already through to the playoffs, they sit comfortably at the top of the points table, remaining unbeaten with seven wins from eight matches, while one fixture was washed out due to rain.

In contrast, Karachi Kings find themselves under pressure near the bottom of the standings, managing just three wins in seven outings. With the tournament entering a decisive phase, every match now carries knockout-like importance for the former champions.

The head-to-head record also favors Zalmi, who have dominated past encounters with 16 victories compared to Karachi’s eight wins in 24 meetings.

With Zalmi aiming to maintain their unbeaten run and Kings fighting to stay alive, the clash promises a battle between consistency and desperation.
