Karachi Acid Attack Leaves Woman Injured

KARACHI: In a harrowing incident of targeted violence, a woman was severely injured after an unidentified motorcyclist hurled acid at her in the Liaquatabad area on Saturday while she was commuting to work with her husband.
According to initial police reports, the victim is employed at an online ride-hailing company’s office located along Sharakh-e-Faisal.
The couple was intercepted during their daily morning commute, plunging the neighborhood into shock and reigniting urgent concerns regarding women’s safety in the metropolis.
