ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has successfully busted a criminal syndicate involved in producing counterfeit apostille stickers, fake government stamps, and fraudulent official documents during a targeted raid in the Aabpara area of the federal capital.
According to initial details shared by law enforcement officials, the operation was conducted following intelligence reports regarding a network facilitating illegal documentation and attestation services. During the raid, investigators recovered a substantial quantity of fake state seals, forged stickers, printing equipment, and manipulated identification papers intended to deceive foreign missions and domestic authorities.
The proliferation of counterfeit attestation materials poses severe legal and security risks, potentially compromising the verification process for citizens seeking legitimate international travel, employment, or academic pursuits abroad.
