Dust Storms Kill 4, Injure Over 60 Across Sindh, Punjab

Islamabad: At least four people, including a girl, were killed and more than 60 others injured in separate incidents caused by powerful dust storms that swept across various districts of Sindh and Punjab.
According to reports, strong winds and dust storms triggered multiple accidents in Ghotki and Kashmore, resulting in casualties and injuries.
In Rajanpur, trees, signboards, electricity poles and power lines were uprooted due to the intense storm, disrupting electricity supply in several areas.
Meanwhile, in the Gorakh Hill Station area of Dadu, strong winds blew away the roofs of several huts, while solar panels also suffered significant damage.

Traffic on Motorway M-5 was temporarily suspended after high-voltage electricity transmission lines collapsed onto the road during the storm. Police and MEPCO teams later removed the fallen lines and restored traffic flow.
In another incident, more than 20 houses caught fire in Alipur area of Muzaffargarh during the storm. Several livestock animals were also burnt in the blaze.
Authorities and rescue teams continued relief and restoration operations in the affected areas, while officials urged citizens to remain cautious amid unstable weather conditions.
