AirSial Launches Islamabad–Sukkur Flight

Islamabad: AirSial has launched a new direct flight service between Islamabad and Sukkur, aiming to strengthen domestic air connectivity and improve travel convenience.

The inaugural Airbus A320 flight (SIF152) landed in Sukkur at 12:10 PM on Monday, carrying 37 passengers. The return flight (SIF153) departed shortly after at 1:12 PM with 39 passengers on board.

According to Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), the new route provides a more direct and efficient travel option between the federal capital and interior Sindh, reducing travel time for passengers.

Initially, the airline will operate one weekly flight on this route. However, officials indicated that the frequency could be increased depending on passenger demand and operational considerations.

The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to expand domestic aviation services and promote stronger economic and social connectivity across Pakistan.

One killed, five injured in Kashmore firing
One person was killed and five others sustained injuries in a firing incident that took place in a village of Kashmore district of Sindh, TV channels reported on Monday. According to initial reports, one person lost his life and five received injuries after a firing reported
near a village of Ali Murad Khoso, Kashmore district. The dead and injured were shifted to hospital. Investigations are underway.
