Islamabad: Popular Pakistani comedian and host Tabish Hashmi has announced his departure from Geo TV’s comedy show “Hansna Mana Hai,” marking the end of a successful television journey that helped him gain a wider audience.

Taking to Instagram, Tabish shared an emotional farewell message, recalling his time on the show from 2022 to 2026. He thanked the channel, team members and viewers for their support, saying that hosting the program on national television had been a memorable experience.

“It was great while it lasted, from 2022 to 2026. It was a pleasure being on National TV for almost five years,” Tabish wrote in his post, adding that he would always remember the love received from the audience.

Tabish Hashmi rose to fame through Nashpati Prime’s digital show “To Be Honest” and later became known for his stand-up comedy performances in Karachi. His transition from digital platforms to mainstream television brought him a large following, particularly among younger audiences.

In 2022, he joined Geo TV as the host of “Hansna Mana Hai,” where his conversational comedy style and celebrity interviews made the show popular on social media.

Currently, Tabish is also associated with Geo TV’s talent show “Pakistan Got Talent” and has expanded his career into acting, appearing in the film “Aag Lagay Basti Mein,” featuring Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan.

Following his announcement, fans flooded social media with reactions, expressing disappointment and nostalgia over the end of his “Hansna Mana Hai” journey. Some viewers also speculated about the reasons behind his exit, though no official explanation has been given by Tabish Hashmi or Geo TV.
