Who Will Win ICC’s July Award?

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced three nominees for its Player of the Month award for July 2026, with standout performances across Test, ODI and T20 cricket earning recognition.

West Indies all-rounder Justin Graves, England white-ball captain Harry Brook and Bangladesh opener Tanzid Hasan have been shortlisted after impressive individual displays during the month.

Graves emerged as a strong contender following his performances against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. During the two-Test series against Sri Lanka, he produced a match-defining 180 in the opening Test and played a key role in West Indies securing a 1-0 series victory.

Brook, meanwhile, dominated the T20 series against India, producing 229 runs across five matches at an outstanding average of 114.50. His strike rate of 214.01 underlined the attacking nature of his batting, while his performances earned him the Player of the Series award.

Tanzid also enjoyed a productive month across formats. The Bangladesh opener scored 159 runs in a three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe before adding another 140 runs in the T20 series. His consistency made him the leading run-scorer in both series.

The nominations highlight the contrasting ways the three players made an impact in July, with Graves impressing in Test cricket, Brook dominating the shortest format and Tanzid producing runs across both ODI and T20 cricket.

The ICC award will recognise the player whose performances stood out most during July, with the three nominees now competing for the monthly honour.
