Weather to Remain Cold, Partly Cloudy in KP

Peshawar: The Meteorological Department announced that the weather across most districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will remain cold and partly cloudy.

There’s a possibility of light rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms in some areas, along with light rain and gusty winds in others.

Additionally, there might be light snowfall on mountains in Dir, Chitral, Kohistan, Shangla, Swat, Buner, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Nowshera, Kohat, and Kurram.

The recorded minimum temperature stands at 12 degrees Celsius, expected to rise to a maximum of 18 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air is recorded at 64 percent.

Over the last 24 hours, Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa experienced rain, while snowfall occurred on the mountains.

The lowest temperatures recorded on Friday were minus 12 degrees Celsius in Kalam, minus 06 degrees Celsius in Astor and Gopas, minus 05 degrees Celsius in Kalat, minus 03 degrees Celsius in Chitral, and minus 02 degrees Celsius in Bagrot, Dir, Darosh, Mir Khani, Rawalkot, and Skardu.

According to the Meteorology Department, snowfall measurements include 05 inches in Darosh, 04 inches in Kalam, 03 inches in Mirkhani, 2.4 inches in Chitral, and 02 inches in Dir.
