Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi’s City Traffic Police (CTP) has released a traffic advisory for tourists heading to Murree to experience snowfall.

In a news release on Monday, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Taimur Khan urged all road users to prioritize safety by exercising extreme caution and adhering to instructions.

Khan emphasized the importance of maintaining low speeds and safe distances on the snowy roads, advising drivers to avoid overtaking unless absolutely necessary. He also encouraged individuals to check the weather forecast and road conditions before embarking on their journey.

“Plan your trip wisely, and in case of worsening conditions, consider delaying unnecessary travel. Strictly adhere to traffic signals, road signs, and markings, as they play a crucial role in maintaining order on the roads,” said Khan.

The CTP in Rawalpindi underscored the significance of responsible driving, especially in challenging weather conditions.

Khan noted that by following these guidelines, drivers can contribute to a safer road environment for themselves and others.
