SSP inspects Taxila triple murder crime scene

Rawalpindi: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigations Nasir Ali Khan visited the crime scene of a triple murder in the Taxila police station jurisdiction on Thursday on the directions of City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani.
During the visit, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Taxila and the Station House Officer (SHO) were also present. The SDPO briefed the SSP Investigation in detail regarding the incident and the progress made in the case so far.
SSP (Investigations) Nasir Ali Khan directed police officials to ensure the immediate arrest of the suspect involved and instructed that the case be pursued strictly on merit. He emphasized that no negligence would be tolerated in bringing the perpetrators to justice.

Special police teams have been constituted under the supervision of senior officers to trace and apprehend the accused at the earliest.
Woman tortured by brother-in-law in Lahore
A woman was allegedly tortured by her brother-in-law (Jeth) in the Race Course area of Lahore following a domestic dispute, police said.
According to police officials, the accused identified as Karamat allegedly assaulted the woman in the absence of her husband after a disagreement over a family issue.
Police confirmed that a case has been registered against the accused, and investigations are currently underway.
