Triple Murder in Taxila Linked to Family Feud

Wah Cantt: A suspected long-standing family feud turned deadly in Taxila, where three members of the same family were killed in a brutal attack, police said on Thursday.
The incident occurred in Mohalla Mashriq Abadi, where a man allegedly attacked his relatives with a sharp-edged weapon. According to police, the suspect, identified as Najeebullah, is accused of killing his wife, son, and sister.
The victims were reported to be a 40-year-old woman, a 26-year-old man, and a 23-year-old woman.
A complainant, Azizullah, informed police about the incident, prompting an immediate response. Law enforcement officials said forensic teams were dispatched to collect evidence from the crime scene, while the bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital to complete legal formalities.
Police have launched an investigation into the killings and are working to apprehend the suspect.
ANF Seizes Over 17kg Drugs in Nationwide Crackdown

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered more than 17 kilograms of drugs in three separate operations across the country, arresting three suspects, officials said on Thursday.
According to an ANF spokesperson, the seized narcotics—worth over Rs 1.4 million—included hashish and ice.
In the first operation near Indus Highway in Kohat, authorities recovered 8 kilograms of hashish and 1 kilogram of ice from a vehicle, leading to the arrest of one suspect.
In a second raid near Service Road in Charsadda, 7.2 kilograms of hashish were seized from a motorcycle rider, who was taken into custody.
The third operation near Sher Shah Toll Plaza in Multan resulted in the recovery of 1.2 kilograms of hashish from another suspect.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA) 1997, and further investigations are underway.
