PTI Yousafzai Criticizes PM for Failing to Deliver on KP Package
News Desk
PESHAWAR:Shaukat Yousafzai, a prominent leader from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has expressed disappointment with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government for not delivering a substantial economic package for the province.
During a press conference on Wednesday, Yousafzai stated that expectations were high for significant financial support to address the region’s pressing economic challenges.
Yousafzai emphasized that the provincial government had anticipated a robust financial commitment from the federal government, which he believes is crucial for the development and welfare of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He remarked, “We had hoped for a major package that would uplift our economy and provide relief to our citizens, but the current situation leaves us disheartened.”
The lack of a comprehensive economic plan for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa could have far-reaching implications for the province, which has been grappling with economic instability and rising unemployment rates.
Analysts suggest that without adequate federal support, the province may struggle to implement essential development projects and improve living standards for its residents.
Looking ahead, Yousafzai called for immediate dialogue between provincial and federal authorities to address these concerns.
He urged the government to reconsider its stance and prioritize Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in its economic agenda, as the province plays a vital role in the overall stability and growth of Pakistan.
