PSL 11 Kicks Off Today: Lahore Qalandars Face Hyderabad Kings

Islamabad:  The 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) begins today, with defending champions Lahore Qalandars taking on the new franchise Hyderabad Kings in the opening match.

Cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the tournament, but due to ongoing regional tensions and government measures to avoid an energy crisis, no spectators will be allowed at the stadium this year. Fans can follow all the action live on Geo Super and via the digital app Myco.

Ticket Refund Policy Announced

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that PSL 11 ticket holders will receive refunds automatically to the accounts used for booking online.

The refund process will start on March 30 and is expected to be completed within 15 days. Customers do not need to take any additional steps; in case of delays, they are advised to contact their respective banks.

Captains Vow Exciting Cricket

During a press conference in Lahore, captains of the participating teams expressed their determination to deliver exciting cricket and compete for the trophy.

Shaheen Afridi (Lahore Qalandars) said the team’s preparations are solid and praised the success of PSL over the past 10 years, promising fans more quality cricket in the future.

Babar Azam (Peshawar Zalmi) acknowledged that he will miss the fans but vowed to perform at his best so that viewers can enjoy the matches on television.

Muhammad Rizwan (Rawalpindi Royals) expressed optimism that the PSL will continue to grow in success in the years ahead.

With the opening clash set to thrill fans across the country, PSL 11 promises competitive cricket despite the empty stadiums.
