Man Arrested for Defrauding Gold Medalist Student of 93 Lakh

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad police have arrested alleged suspect, identified as Nauman, allegedly defrauded Liba Ijaz, a gold medalist student from the International Islamic University.

The arrest took place on Saturday, following a thorough investigation into the fraudulent activities that reportedly cost the student 93 lakh.

According to police sources, the arrest was confirmed by the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Operations, who stated that the investigation is ongoing.

Liba Ijaz, a promising student, fell victim to a scam that has raised concerns about the safety and security of students in the region.

This incident highlights the growing issue of fraud targeting students and young professionals in Pakistan.
