Karachi Protest Marks 60 Days of Mir Raza Case as Sit-in Concludes

KARACHI: A demonstration was held on Sea View Road to mark sixty days since the alleged murder of Mir Raza, drawing family members and civil society activists demanding swift justice.
The protest also witnessed a significant development as the relatives of another victim, Rosham Hussain, officially called off their ongoing sit-in following negotiations and assurances from relevant authorities.
The dual developments highlight mounting public pressure on law enforcement agencies in Pakistan’s largest metropolis to resolve high-profile criminal cases transparently. Protesters voiced deep concerns over alleged delays in the investigation, urging police high-ups to expedite forensic findings and apprehend all suspects involved in the tragic incidents without yielding to external pressures.
