Meanwhile, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman urged the banned Public Action Committee to resolve its differences through dialogue and avoid any actions that could further escalate tensions.

In a message addressed to the committee, Fazlur Rehman said Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was also engaged in efforts to help resolve the issue and should be given time to hold discussions with the government.

He said Bilawal was seeking a peaceful solution and wanted to prevent bloodshed and unrest.

The JUI-F chief also stressed the importance of positive developments to strengthen mutual trust between the people of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan.
