DI Khan Suicide Bombing Claims Eleven Lives

DI KHAN: A suspected suicide bombing targeting a security checkpoint in the Drazinda area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district left at least 11 people dead, including six police officers and two customs personnel.
According to initial reports, an explosives-laden vehicle rammed into the anti-smuggling checkpost situated along the DI Khan-Quetta Road, triggering a massive blast that caused extensive structural damage to the facility and nearby structures.
Emergency response teams, rescue services, and heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies were immediately dispatched to the site following the explosion.
The injured and the deceased were shifted to nearby medical facilities for medico-legal procedures and emergency treatment, while security forces cordoned off the entire area to launch a comprehensive clearance and search operation.
