BANNU: The bodies of two Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel, who went missing a day earlier, were recovered on Monday from a graveyard in the Kamali area of Palosi, local authorities and Rescue 1122 confirmed.
The slain personnel, identified as Havaldar Ishaq and Sepoy Umar Hayat belonging to Platoon No 59, were reportedly abducted by unidentified armed men on Sunday evening from the Saifan Kozi Khel locality within the jurisdiction of the Karam Garhi and Cantt police stations.
Initial security assessments indicate that the victims were targeted while performing routine duties or transiting through the volatile district.
