Islamabad: Would you like to cook fish in an authentic Chinese style? Here’s a recipe for a special dish called “Hot Butter Cuttlefish.” It pairs perfectly with plain rice or vegetable fried rice.

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of Cuttlefish

  • 30 grams of Celery (cut in julienne style)

  • 15 grams of Red chili (diced)

  • 40 grams of Onion (cut in julienne style)

  • 30 grams of Flour

  • 30 grams of Corn starch

  • 2 grams of Salt

  • 3 grams of Chili powder

  • 3 grams of Sugar

  • 40 ml of Water

  • 20 grams of Butter

  • Oil for frying

Method:

Place the cuttlefish into a steel bowl, add the cornstarch, flour, and water. Mix well to coat the cuttlefish.

Heat the wok and add oil until it reaches a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius. Fry the coated cuttlefish until it turns golden brown. Set aside the fried cuttlefish.

In another pan, add the butter, onion, chili, and celery. Stir-fry for a while until they are slightly softened.

Add the fried cuttlefish back into the pan along with the remaining ingredients: salt, chili powder, and sugar. Toss everything well to combine.

Once everything is heated through and well combined, arrange the hot butter cuttlefish on a platter and serve immediately.

Enjoy your Hot Butter Cuttlefish with plain rice or vegetable fried rice!
